Wolverhampton passes Tottenham again

The battle for Europe in the Premier League will be a thriller: On the penultimate day of the game, the Wolverhampton Wanderers passed the Tottenham Hotspur again.

The “Wolves” won 2-0 (1-0) against Crystal Palace late Monday night (20.07.2020). Daniel Podence scored four minutes before the break after a wonderful combination of João Moutinho and Matt Doherty to lead Coach Nuno’s team.

Also great was the 2-0 (68th minute) Jonny scored from the shoot after a solo by Adama Traoré.

Setback for Sheffield Wednesday
For Sheffield United, the dream of Europe is getting close: after losing to Everton, the team must hope that seventh place is enough for qualification. Sheffield unfortunately lost 0-1 (0-0) to Everton and is now four points behind “Spurs”, which moved to seventh place due to Wolverhampton’s success.
