Ederson’s double flop decides Manchester Derby

Manchester United deservedly won 2-0 against the Citizens in the city derby. After Martial put the Red Devils in the lead with the support of City-Keeper Ederson, the champions never really found their way back into the game and were forced to concede 2-0 in injury time after another interruption of his goalkeeper. Man United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer changed his starting line-up seven places after his 3-0 FA Cup win at Derby County: For Romero, Bailly, McTominay, Mata, Ighalo (all on the bench), Dalot and Lingard, de Gea, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka, Matic, Williams, James and Martial started. The Citizens started with a lot of momentum and offensive drive, Sterling failed after a nice presentation by dropkick to de Gea (10th). The off-track player was the solo entertainer for Guardiola’s team at the start, while ManUnited were low and lurking for counter-attacks from the start.
