Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, who has been injured for months, is aiming to return to the pitch if the English Premier League season continues in the coming weeks. “I’ve been out for a long time, so I just want to play football again,” the world champions told the club’s own media.
He continues to keep fit in his own four walls during the corona-related compulsory break: “There’s always a way to work. You can work with everything you have at home, you can still do sit-ups and push-ups.”
The 27-year-old has been suffering from chronic ankle problems since fall 2019. The last time Pogba was on the pitch was on 26th December against Newcastle United (4-1).
